Profile is a leadership programme that provides a two-day briefing to senior leaders who:
• Would like the opportunity to “lift the lid” on how the city and country operates , discover how it really works and how to influence change, using the City as its classroom
• Feel a need to refresh their thinking and perspectives in their leadership roles
• Would benefit from broadening their network of peers from differing sectoral backgrounds who are willing to challenge and offer support
Profile programme participants can be leaders who want to take a fresh look their organisations, or leaders who are new to Dublin and Ireland and its surrounds and want an introduction to the important issues, players and institutions that are crucial to the area’s success. If you would benefit from an insight how other organisations work and at the same time give you the bigger picture of the city/ country, or just to re-inspire you – this is the right programme for you.
In two intense and fast-paced days, Profile gives participants an overview of Ireland’s decision makers and influencers and offers an introduction to some of its key players. Participants are able to get behind the scenes to examine how various agencies and services operate, and to have the chance to engage with professional areas outside of their usual arena.
Participants investigate real-life challenges in the local area, visit small businesses, multinational corporations and various government institutions. They share leadership experiences and challenges with a wide variety of diverse leaders with proven track records of leading through change. A key factor in all Common Purpose programmes is to encourage collaborations across sectors and build a sustainable business environment.
