Irish Embassy London dinner to further develop collaborative approach to Green Finance
October 9, 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 10:30 pm
Supported by the Irish Embassy London, Sustainable Nation Ireland is hosting its second annual Green Finance dinner for international finance players, Irish and U.K. government officials in London on Tuesday, October 9th.
The event will showcase Ireland’s expertise in Green Finance and explore ways to further strengthen relationships with the U.K. as both countries ramp up their own national decarbonisation efforts.
As with last year’s dinner, guests will come together in the realisation that climate change does not recognise borders and that there is an opportunity for Ireland and the U.K. to work together to mobilise capital into climate resilient infrastructure.
Attendees at last year’s event included the UK Department of International Trade, HM Treasury, the UK Department for International Development, the Irish Strategic Investment Fund, the City of London Green Finance Initiative, Climate Bonds Initiative, CDP and the EU’s Climate-KIC, as well as a host of international companies.
Sustainable Nation Ireland promotes Ireland as a hub for green and sustainable investment as part of the government’s action plan for Ireland’s international financial services sector, the IFS 2020 Strategy.
Please note that this is an invite only event.
