Europe’s largest summer school on climate innovation and entrepreneurship – the Journey – is now open for appliants

  • Do you want to be part of an international group of like-minded people from a range of academic and professional backgrounds, forming an active and influential network of entrepreneurs, innovators,businesses, regional governments and academic institutions?

If you have answered “YES” to any of the above then Climate-KIC’s Journey Programme is for you!

The Journey is a prestigious climate innovation summer school. It brings together students and professionals from all over the world.

The Journey summer school offers climate change knowledge combined with entrepreneurship skills, allowing participants to create – together with people from a wide range of backgrounds – a business model which will help our environment. From validating an idea to understanding the market, structuring a business, and building a team, Climate-KIC gears participants up for the world of climate entrepreneurship. The Journey provides the tools to make an impact on the global effort to find solutions to climate change, and supports participants in the quest to become an sustainable entrepreneur.

For EU students (holders of an EU/EEA/Swiss passport or students full time enrolled at a European institution during the 2017/18 academic year) there is no fee to take part in the Journey. For all other participants a fee will apply. Please consult the Journey website for further details.

We are pleased to announce that Europe’s largest summer school on innovation and entrepreneurship is taking place again in 2018!

Climate-KIC will host 11 Journeys around Europe – including Dublin – and we would like you to spread the word and inspire your contacts, students or colleagues to apply here.

Applicants can choose between a 3-week and a 5-week programme and a brand new edition in cooperation with Copernicus called “InnoSpace Journey”.
